"I'm world champion, baby!" The words of an ecstatic Jenson Button after he finished fifth in the Brazilian Grand Prix to became F1 World Champion.
His victory meant Britain had back-to-back world champions for the first time since Jim Clark and Graham Hill in the 1960s and was the culmination of nine years of disappointments and hard graft for Button as he finally found a car with which he could mount a serious title challenge.
The Brawn GP team that took Button to the title also claimed the constructor's title with a race to spare - a remarkable achievement for a team in its debut season. Here are some of the highlights from the year.
