The original Assen track dates back to 1925 and the first dutch TT race. Since then, this tight, twisty circuit has become one of the most legendary circuits for motorcycling; it is the only road racing circuit in the Championship specifically designed for motorcycle racing. Because of the twisty layout, there is little room for error and Assen offers a very technical challegne to competitors.
