Indianapolis MotoGP circuit

Date: 14 September 2008
Venue: Indianapolis
Track length: 4186m
Laps: 28
Race length: 117.208km
2007 winner: Casey Stoner (Ducati)

The Championship discovers a completely new venue this year when teams decamp to the Indianapolis Speedway in September. In fact, it will be an historic day all round as MotoGP makes its debut at the 'Brickyard' which will be hosting a motorcycle race for the first time since it opened in 1909 and MotoGP's presence is to commemorate that first race. The GP will be held over the IMS road course.
